8/ | 8/13/2026 Went with Steve Pearson and Kodi to check water levels at Jim Creek. Water was fairly high, no trouble launching. Saw four ADFG staff coming in to landing in an aluminum boat with a surface drive motor. They came into Jim Lake via the cut. At Swan Lake, best entrance to the lake proper is to stay as far south as possible, entrance has an S curve. New shaft sleeve seems to work well, no apparent grease consumption. | ||

8/13/2026 Went with Steve Pearson and Kodi to check water levels at Jim Creek. Water was fairly high, no trouble launching. Saw four ADFG staff coming in to landing in an aluminum boat with a surface drive motor. They came into Jim Lake via the cut. At Swan Lake, best entrance to the lake proper is to stay as far south as possible, entrance has an S curve. New shaft sleeve seems to work well, no apparent grease consumption.
